a. Hard Trowers (self reported velocity : 85 mph = 2.5x increased risk)
b. Participation in showcases, radar guns, pitching consecutive days, PITCHERS + CATCHER COMBO
c. Pitching while fatigued (36x increased risk)
d. Pitching : 8 months per year (5x increased risk)
e. Pitching : 80 pitches/game (4x increased risk)
f. Pitching breaking balls and sliders before age 14 (or shaving)
g. Tall hard throwers at greater risk!
