Junior starting pitcher Joe Simeone was strong for the Huskies with four solid innings of work, allowing just three hits and striking out six. Two costly errors in the infield along with a foot off the bag on a potential inning-ending double play ball led to a pair of runs for the Mustangs in the third and elevated Simeone's pitch count.
