Which Young Players Are Stepping Up The Most For LSU Baseball?

LSU Baseball Recruiting Coordinator Nolan Cain joined Jordy and T-Bob to discuss how much of an impact the young guys are making for LSU.

“Seeing them play over the years and recruiting them…you know they can go out there and be a big piece for this team,” Cain said.

How impressed has Cain been with the 16 arms they’ve pitched this season?

“I think there are a lot of different type of pieces in there,” Cain said. “I think the guys are buying into their roles.”

LSU faces Louisiana Tech tonight and Cain gave us a bit of a scouting report of the Bulldogs.

“They’ve got a couple of returning players that were really good for them last year,” Cain said. “They’re off to a little bit of a slow start…but those guys are really good ball players, so hopefully they can have the best part of their season after us.”

Finally, he discussed heading to Texas to play in the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic this weekend.
